Keminmaa is a small town, also called a municipality, in Finland. It is located in the northern part of the country, in the Lapland region. Keminmaa is close to the bigger towns of Kemi and Tornio.
As of 31 December 2023, Keminmaa has about 7,691 people living there. The municipality covers an area of about 647.24 square kilometres (249.90 sq mi). A small part of this area, about 20.73 km2 (8.00 sq mi), is water. This means there are about 12.26 inhabitants per square kilometre (31.8/sq mi) people living in each square kilometer.
