Kenefic is a small town located in Bryan County, Oklahoma, in the United States. In 2020, about 147 people lived there.
The town got its name from William Kenefick. He was the president of the Missouri, Oklahoma and Gulf Railroad. This railroad built tracks through the area. You might see the town's name spelled as Kenefic or Kenefick.

History of Kenefic
When Kenefic was first established, it was part of Blue County. This area belonged to the Choctaw Nation, a Native American tribe.

Kenefic is a small town, covering about 1 square mile (2.58 square kilometers) of land. There is no water area within the town limits.
Two main roads, State Highway 48 and State Highway 22, serve the town. This means they pass through or near Kenefic.
There are also some cool natural spots nearby. To the northeast, you can find McGee Creek State Park and McGee Creek Lake. To the southwest is Lake Texoma, a very large lake.
