Kennet's Playing Style
Kennet Andersson was known as one of the best forwards of his time. He was tall, athletic, and very strong. Even though he wasn't the fastest player and didn't have fancy technical skills, he was a great goal scorer.
He was famous for his hard work and his ability to hold up the ball with his back to the goal. This allowed his teammates to get into good positions. Most importantly, he was amazing in the air. He could jump incredibly high to score goals with his head. He also used his head to knock the ball down to his teammates, helping them score.
Because of his style, people often called him an "old-fashioned" centre-forward or a "target-man." This means he was a player who could receive long passes and create chances for others. The BBC once said he was "one of the world's greatest forwards in the air." They also noted that his aerial skills were matched by his good passing and unselfish play, which helped other strikers succeed alongside him. Even famous coach Carlo Ancelotti said it was "practically impossible" to mark Kennet in the air.
