Kenneth Choi (born October 20, 1971) is an American actor. He is famous for playing many different characters in movies and TV shows. You might know him as Jim Morita in the Marvel Cinematic Universe films like Captain America: The First Avenger and Spider-Man: Homecoming. He also plays Howie "Chimney" Han, a firefighter, in the TV series 9-1-1.

Early Life and Dreams
Kenneth Choi was born in Chicago, Illinois. His parents came from Korea. His dad was an engineering professor and a businessman, and his mom was a nurse. Kenneth is the middle child of three.
When he was in junior high, Kenneth started breakdancing, which was his first experience performing! In high school, he was a gymnast and ran cross-country. His parents wanted him to choose a "safe" job, like accounting. Kenneth even studied accounting at Purdue University for a while.
But Kenneth really wanted to be an actor. He decided to leave college to follow his dream. He said it was hard because he came from a very traditional family, and he had to do it all on his own. He moved to Portland, Oregon, and worked at a Blockbuster video store while he learned how to act for five years.

Kenneth Choi started his acting journey in Portland. His very first role was in a Disney Channel movie called Halloweentown. Later, he moved to Los Angeles to find more acting opportunities.
He has been in many popular movies. He played Jim Morita in Captain America: The First Avenger. Later, he played Principal Morita, who is Jim Morita's grandson, in Spider-Man: Homecoming. He was also in The Wolf of Wall Street and Suicide Squad.
On television, Kenneth has had many important roles. He played Henry Lin in Sons of Anarchy and Lewis in The Last Man on Earth. He also played Judge Lance Ito in the true-crime series The People v. O. J. Simpson: American Crime Story. Since 2018, he has been a main character on the show 9-1-1, where he plays a brave firefighter named Howie "Chimney" Han.
Kenneth has also used his voice for video games. He voiced Jim Morita in the game Captain America: Super Soldier. He was also a gangster's voice in the game Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.
