Professional Football Journey
Kentavius Street began his professional football career after being drafted into the NFL.
Starting with the San Francisco 49ers
The San Francisco 49ers picked Street in the fourth round of the 2018 NFL draft. He was the 128th player chosen overall. Early in his career, he faced some challenges due to a knee injury. This injury meant he couldn't play right away in 2018. He spent time recovering and working to get back on the field.
He was placed on the injured reserve list in 2019, but he was able to return to practice later that year. He was activated to play in December 2019. However, he was placed back on injured reserve in January 2020. Even without Street playing, the 49ers made it to Super Bowl LIV that season. They played against the Kansas City Chiefs but lost the game. Street continued to work on his recovery and returned to the active roster in August 2020.
Moving to New Orleans Saints
In March 2022, Kentavius Street signed a contract to play for the New Orleans Saints. This was a new chapter in his professional career.
Time with the Philadelphia Eagles
After playing for the Saints, Street joined the Philadelphia Eagles. He signed a one-year deal with them in March 2023.
Joining the Atlanta Falcons
Later in 2023, Street was traded to the Atlanta Falcons. This trade happened in October 2023. He re-signed with the Falcons in March 2024, continuing his career with the team.
