College Basketball Journey

Kevin Magee started his college journey at Southeastern Louisiana University and then the University of Houston. However, he left both schools without playing basketball. He played for two years with the Anteaters in the Pacific Coast Athletic Association (PCAA). This conference is now known as the Big West Conference.

Amazing College Achievements

He was the first college player ever to rank in the top four in three different stats. He was third in scoring (27.5), second in field goal percentage (67.1), and fourth in rebounding (12.5). His jersey number, 44, was the first to be retired by UC Irvine. He was also added to the UCI Hall of Fame in 1997.
