Khalid Reeves (born July 15, 1972) is an American former professional basketball player. He played for six seasons in the National Basketball Association (NBA). The Miami Heat picked him in the first round of the 1994 NBA draft. He was the 12th player chosen overall.

Khalid Reeves' Early Basketball Journey
Khalid Reeves grew up in Queens, New York. He went to Christ The King Regional High School there. After high school, he played college basketball for the Arizona Wildcats.
College Success at Arizona
Khalid chose to play for the University of Arizona because he wanted to be in a warm place. His high school coach, Bob Oliva, helped him connect with the Arizona coach, Lute Olson. Khalid became one of the best scorers in Arizona's history.
He still holds the record for most points in a single season. He scored 848 points during the 1993-94 season. Khalid helped lead the Wildcats to the NCAA Final Four in 1994. He played alongside his teammate Damon Stoudamire. Their team lost to Arkansas, who later won the championship.
Khalid Reeves' Professional Career
Khalid Reeves played for many NBA teams from 1994 to 2000. During his NBA career, he scored an average of 7.8 points per game. His last NBA team was the Chicago Bulls during the 1999–2000 season.
His final NBA game was on January 3, 2000. The Bulls lost to the Portland Trail Blazers. In that game, Khalid scored 3 points and had 1 assist.
Playing Basketball Around the World
After his time in the NBA, Khalid continued to play basketball professionally. He played in smaller leagues in the United States. He also played in other countries like Greece, France, Lebanon, and Venezuela. He stopped playing professional basketball in 2005.
Khalid Reeves' Coaching Role
Today, Khalid Reeves is an assistant coach. He coaches at his old high school, Christ the King Regional High School. He helps young players learn the game.
