Khari Iman Mitchell Samuel, born on October 14, 1976, is a former American football player. He was a linebacker for teams like the Chicago Bears and Detroit Lions in the National Football League (NFL). Before playing professionally, he was a star college football player for the UMass Minutemen.

Playing College Football

Khari Samuel played high school football at Framingham High School. This school is located in Framingham, Massachusetts. After high school, he decided to play for the University of Massachusetts Amherst.

UMass Achievements

While at UMass, Khari was a top player. He was named a first-team All-American. He was also a first-team All-Atlantic 10 Conference selection. Khari helped lead the Minutemen to a big win. They won their first-ever national championship in 1998.

College Records

Khari Samuel finished his college career with impressive records. He became UMass's all-time leader in solo tackles with 328. He also ranked second in total tackles with 495. He was fourth in assisted tackles with 167. Plus, he was seventh in sacks with 19. In 1998, his senior year, he had 113 solo tackles. Time with the Chicago Bears
