Kid Paddle is a fun comic book series from Belgium. It was created by Michel Ledent, also known as Midam, in 1993. The comics first appeared in a magazine called Spirou. Later, in 1996, they became their own comic albums.
The comic series became so popular that it led to an animated TV show! This show was made by a company called Spectra Animation. It aired in France on channels like M6 and TiJi/Canal J. In Belgium, it was shown on RTBF Television, and in Canada, you could watch it on Teletoon.

About Kid Paddle's World
The Kid Paddle comics and TV show are all about the things kids aged 8 to 12 love. These include video games, comic books, and sci-fi adventures. The main character, Kid Paddle, is a typical young boy who loves all these things. He's also a big fan of "Blorks," which are fictional aliens in his world.
Meet the Characters
Kid Paddle has two best friends who join him on his adventures:
- Big Bang: He's a very smart kid who loves science. Big Bang is always inventing cool new gadgets for Kid to try out.
- Horace: He's a bit more innocent than the others and has a really strange appetite! Horace is always there to support Kid and looks up to him.
Kid also has a sister named Carol. Like many brothers and sisters, they often argue. Carol thinks her brother is a bit of a silly air-head.
What the Show Covers
The stories in Kid Paddle often feature video games, movies, DVDs, and technology. In the second season, the show also started exploring topics like crushes and the differences between boys and girls.
So far, two seasons of the TV show have been made. Each season has 26 half-hour episodes, and each half-hour episode is actually two shorter 11-minute stories. The show is very popular in its home country of Belgium, and also in France.

The Kid Paddle series has been published in 15 comic albums. The first 11 books were released by a company called Dupuis. After that, volume 12 and all the ones that followed were published by Mad Fabrik. This is Midam's very own publishing company!

Kid Paddle Video Games
Kid Paddle has also starred in several video games! These games were released in Belgium and France for different Nintendo systems.
- Kid Paddle for the Game Boy Advance came out in 2005.
- Kid Paddle: Blorks Invasion was released for the Nintendo DS in 2007.
- Kid Paddle: Lost in the Game came out in 2008 for both the Wii and DS.
There's also a game called Kid Paddle: Puzzle Monsters. This game is based on the comic series and was released for iPad and iPhone in 2009 by Anuman Interactive.
