Pedro Henrique "Kiko" Loureiro (born June 16, 1972) is a famous Brazilian guitarist. He has played in several heavy metal bands. Some of his most well-known bands include Angra and Megadeth.

Kiko's Musical Journey
Kiko Loureiro started learning music and playing the acoustic guitar when he was 11 years old. He learned from two famous Brazilian musicians, Pedro Bueno and Mozart Mello. Kiko was inspired by guitar legends like Eddie Van Halen and Jimi Hendrix.
Starting with Electric Guitar
At 13, Kiko switched to the electric guitar. By the time he was 16, he had already joined two bands. He was playing in nightclubs in São Paulo, Brazil. When he was 19, he helped start the Brazilian power metal band Angra.
Success with Angra and Solo Work
As power metal became more popular, Kiko became very successful. He gained fame both with Angra and as a solo artist. Besides rock and metal, Kiko also played guitar on some Eurobeat songs. He worked with a musician named Dave Rodgers on songs like "Fevernova."
Joining Megadeth
On April 2, 2015, it was announced that Kiko had joined the American thrash metal band Megadeth. He took the place of their previous guitarist, Chris Broderick.
Winning a Grammy Award
On February 12, 2017, Kiko Loureiro and his bandmates from Megadeth won a big award. They won the "Best Metal Performance" Grammy Award. This was for their song "Dystopia." The award was given at the 59th Grammy Awards ceremony.
