Killarney is a small community in Orange County, Florida, in the United States. It's not a city with its own government, but rather an "unincorporated community." This means it's part of the county, but doesn't have its own mayor or city council. Its special mail code, called a ZIP code, is 34740.
You can find Killarney west of a town called Oakland. It's also south of the big Lake Apopka and north of John's Lake. The community sits right near the border between Lake County and Orange County.
Important roads like State Road 50 pass through Killarney. There are also popular bike paths, the West Orange Trail and the South Lake-Lake Minneola Scenic Trail, which end here. Florida's Turnpike, a major highway, goes through Killarney too, but you can't get on or off it directly in the community. The closest exit is in nearby Oakland.
