Kilmarnock is a small town in the state of Virginia, in the United States. It's located in two different counties: Lancaster and Northumberland. In 2020, about 1,445 people lived there.
Kilmarnock is close to where the Rappahannock River meets the Chesapeake Bay. It's also part of a special area known for making wine, called the Northern Neck George Washington Birthplace winemaking region. The town has a small hospital and a school called Lancaster Middle School, which teaches students from 4th to 8th grade. Around 500 students go to this school.
The town got its name from a place called Kilmarnock in Scotland.
