Kimberlee Green (born March 5, 1986) is a famous Australian former netball player. She used to be the captain of the Giants Netball team. Kimberlee also played for the Australian national team, called the Diamonds, in 74 games. She is known for her amazing skills on the netball court.

Kimberlee Green's Netball Journey
Kimberlee Green played netball for six years in a league called the Commonwealth Bank Trophy. During this time, she played for two teams: the Sydney Swifts and the AIS Canberra Darters.
Starting with the Swifts
When the ANZ Championship started, Kimberlee joined the New South Wales Swifts team. This team won the very first championship in 2008. That same year, she was chosen to play for the Australian Netball Diamonds.
Playing for Australia
Kimberlee had a very successful international career. She won a bronze medal at the 2009 World Netball Series in Manchester. She also won a silver medal at the 2010 Commonwealth Games in Delhi.
Her team then won a gold medal at the 2011 World Netball Championships in Singapore. In 2014, she won another gold medal at the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.
Captain and Retirement
In 2014, Kimberlee was named captain of the NSW Swifts team. She also helped the Australian team win gold at the 2014 Commonwealth Games. After the 2015 Netball World Cup, where she won another gold medal with Australia, she decided to stop playing for the national team.
In 2017, Kimberlee became the first captain of the new Giants Netball team. She had a serious knee injury during a game in 2017, which meant she couldn't play for the rest of that season. She returned in 2018 and led the Giants to a big final game. On August 22, 2019, Kimberlee Green announced that she was retiring from professional netball.
Life After Playing
In 2021, Kimberlee Green became the head coach for the Opens team at North Shore United. This team plays in the NSW Premier League.
