Kimberly Drew's Career

In March 2011, while still in college, Drew started a Tumblr blog. It was called Black Contemporary Art. She and others shared information about Black artists. These artists were on museum websites but not easily found online. Drew wanted them to be "part of a recorded history." She sees herself as a "curator" of Black art and experiences.
