He was a talented artist who became well-known for his storytelling in his songs. He was signed to Lil Durk's record label, Only the Family, and also worked with Empire Distribution.
In 2020, King Von released some of his most popular songs, including "Took Her To The O" and "Grandson for President." He also released his album "LeVon James" in March 2020. Sadly, King Von passed away on November 6, 2020, in Atlanta, Georgia, at the age of 26.

Dayvon Daquan Bennett was born on August 9, 1994, in Chicago, Illinois. He grew up with several siblings and was mainly raised by his mother, Taesha. His father, Walter E. Bennett, passed away when Von was 11 years old. King Von later honored his father in some of his songs, like "Exposing Me."
Music Career Begins
King Von started his music career in 2018. He was signed by fellow rapper Lil Durk to his record label, Only the Family. This was a big step for Von, and it helped him share his music with more people.
On December 6, 2018, King Von released his first big song, "Crazy Story." This song quickly became very popular and helped him gain many fans.
Popular Songs and Albums
King Von continued to release new music that fans loved. In May 2019, he released "Crazy Story 2.0" which featured Lil Durk. This song did very well and even appeared on a national music chart. Later that year, he released "Crazy Story Pt. 3."
On September 19, 2019, King Von released his mixtape called Grandson, Vol. 1. This album included 15 songs and featured Lil Durk on two tracks. It was a success, reaching number 75 on the Billboard 200, which is a major music chart.
