Terry Sanchez Wallace Jr. (born March 23, 1994), known as Tee Grizzley, is an American rapper. He started sharing his music online after facing some challenges. In 2017, he released the song "First Day Out."
This song quickly became very popular. It got two million views on YouTube in less than three weeks. This happened partly because of a social media challenge started by basketball star LeBron James. The song reached the top 50 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. This success led him to sign with 300 Entertainment.
After "First Day Out," he released his first mixtape, My Moment (2017). Then came the song "From the D to the A" with Lil Yachty. This song was certified double platinum, meaning it sold a lot of copies. In 2018, he released a mixtape called Bloodas with Lil Durk. His first studio album, Activated, came out in 2018.
Activated reached number ten on the Billboard 200 chart. His next albums, Scriptures (2019) and Built for Whatever (2021), also did well. They reached numbers 20 and 15 on the charts. His fourth album, Tee's Coney Island (2023), brought him more success. Its main song, "IDGAF" (featuring Chris Brown and Mariah the Scientist), also made it onto the Billboard Hot 100.
