Casada Aaron Sorrell (born November 17, 1992), known as Sada Baby, is an American rapper and singer. He became famous in 2018. This happened when the music video for his song "Bloxk Party" became very popular online.

After this success, he signed with Asylum Records. Sada Baby is a key artist from the Detroit rap scene that grew in the mid-2010s. He is known for releasing a lot of music. Early Life

Casada Sorrell was born and grew up in Detroit, Michigan. He lived in the Regent Park neighborhood. From age nine to eleven, he sang in a church choir. He then lived in Washington, D.C. for one year.

When he was younger, Sada Baby dreamed of playing basketball. He became interested in music after his cousin Ashley started singing.

Music Career

2013–2017: Starting Out

Sada Baby started taking rapping seriously in 2013. He began to build a group of fans. Over the next three years, he released many songs. He also appeared on other artists' tracks.

However, he did not get much attention at first. He almost stopped making music in 2016. But then, he entered a local rap competition. He won the competition, beating 12 other rappers, and earned some money.

After that, Sada Baby released many singles and music videos on YouTube. This led to his first popular mixtape, Skuba Sada, in 2017. In the same year, he signed with his friend Tee Grizzley's music label, Grizzley Gang. He also released another mixtape called D.O.N.

2018–2019: Becoming Famous

In March 2018, Sada Baby released the music video for his song "Bloxk Party." This song was a team-up with another Detroit rapper, Drego. A few months after this song became popular, Sada Baby signed with Asylum Records.

"Bloxk Party" was re-released on September 28, 2018. It was the second single for his third mixtape, Bartier Bounty. Sada Baby released this mixtape on January 25, 2019, through Asylum. On September 27, 2019, he released his fourth mixtape, Whoop Tape. This was available on SoundCloud and DatPiff.

Later, on November 1, 2019, he released a single called "2K20." Sada Baby left Grizzley Gang in 2019. He wanted to release music more often than the label allowed.

2020–Present: "Whole Lotta Choppas"

On January 1, 2020, Sada Baby released his mixtape Brolik. This was a special release on DatPiff. It was a collection of songs he had released in the previous six months. On January 10, 2020, he released his song "Pressin." This track featured rapper King Von.

In March 2020, Sada Baby released his first official studio album, Skuba Sada 2. This album included his 2020 single "Aktivated." A special "deluxe" version of the album also featured the singles "2K20" and "Pressin." The album was generally well-liked. It reached number 125 on the Billboard 200 chart.

On July 17, 2020, he announced his mixtape Bartier Bounty 2. He released it just one week later. On August 14, 2020, Sada Baby released the single "Whole Lotta Choppas." This song started a popular dance challenge on TikTok. It first appeared at number 92 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. On October 16, 2020, a new version of the song came out. It featured Nicki Minaj. This version later reached number 35 on the chart.
