Kiran Jassal, whose full name is Kiranmeet Kaur Jassal, was born on March 13, 1996. She is a model from Malaysia. Kiran became well-known when she won the title of Miss Universe Malaysia 2016. After winning, she went on to represent her home country, Malaysia, at the Miss Universe 2016 competition. This big event took place in Manila, Philippines.

About Kiran Jassal
Kiran is the youngest child in her family. Her mother, Ranjit Kaur, won the Mrs Malaysia World 2015 title. Her older sister, Dr. Ranmeet Jassal, was Miss Grand Malaysia 2016. It seems talent runs in their family!
Kiran plans to study dentistry in the future. She has said that she will always follow her dream of becoming a dentist. She hopes to open her own dental practice one day. Kiran is of Punjabi descent and follows the Sikh faith.

Miss Universe Malaysia 2016
Kiran Jassal won the Miss Universe Malaysia 2016 title. The crowning event happened on January 30, 2016. It took place at the Palace of the Golden Horses Hotel in Seri Kembangan, Malaysia. The previous winner, Vanessa Tevi, placed the crown on Kiran's head. Kiran also won a special award called "Miss My Dentist Winning Smile".
Miss Universe 2016
Kiran represented Malaysia at the Miss Universe 2016 pageant. She made it into the Top 12 for the Best in National Costume award. Her costume was inspired by the famous Petronas Twin Towers in Malaysia. A well-known Malaysian designer, Rizman Ruzaini, created this costume. He also designed her beautiful evening gown.
Modelling Work
In 2016, Kiran Jassal walked the runway for a special event. It was the L'Oréal Professionnel Colour For Life hair fashion charity event. She appeared alongside other famous models like Deborah Henry and Amber Chia.
Helping Others
Kiran Jassal is a celebrity ambassador for the Malaysia AIDS Foundation. This means she helps spread awareness about important health topics. In 2018, she became a Petron Security Ambassador. In this role, she helped tell people about the Royal Malaysia Police's Go-To-Safety-Point (GTSP) program.
