Kirby David Dar Dar, born on March 27, 1972, is a former American professional football player. He was a talented wide receiver. He played college football at Syracuse University as a running back. The Miami Dolphins of the National Football League (NFL) signed him in 1995. He also played for the New York/New Jersey Hitmen in the XFL in 2001.
Today, Dar Dar lives in Syracuse, New York. He was the head coach for the Syracuse Soldiers in 2006. This team was part of the American Indoor Football Association (AIFL).

Kirby David Dar Dar was born on March 27, 1972. His father was Kirby David Dar Dar, Sr. He grew up in Tampa, Florida.
Kirby went to Thomas Jefferson High School. There, he played high school football and ran track. He was a key player on the football team. He earned a varsity letter three times. In his senior year, he was a team captain.
As a senior, Kirby was a running back. He ran for over 1,700 yards. He also scored 17 touchdowns. Because of his great performance, he was named Hillsborough County Player-of-the-Year. He was also chosen for the All-Sun Coast team twice. He was an All-conference selection three times.
College Football Career
After high school, Dar Dar went to Syracuse University. He studied political science. He played football for four years as a running back. He was a "redshirt" freshman, meaning he didn't play in his first year to gain experience.
In his second year, he played in every game. He returned a kickoff 95 yards for a touchdown against Florida. As a sophomore, he made a 100-yard touchdown. This happened on a kickoff return against Colorado. It was during the Fiesta Bowl.
In his senior year, he carried the ball 188 times. He gained 853 yards and scored 10 touchdowns. He had his best game against Maryland. In that game, he rushed for 159 yards.

Professional Football Journey
Kirby Dar Dar was not chosen in the 1995 NFL draft. However, the Miami Dolphins signed him as a rookie free agent.
In 1995, he spent most of the season on the Dolphins' practice squad. He played in the last game of the season. He returned one kickoff for 22 yards. In 1996, he played in 11 games. He returned seven kickoffs for 132 yards.
