Kolompeh (which is کلمپه in Persian) is a delicious pastry baked in the city of Kerman, Iran. It looks a bit like a small pie. Inside, it's filled with a sweet mixture of mashed dates. This date filling often has a lovely smell from cardamom powder and other spices.
The main ingredients for Kolompeh are dates, wheat flour, walnuts, and cooking oil. Sometimes, people sprinkle pistachios or sesame powder on top. This makes Kolompeh look even prettier and taste better!
