A Look Back: Koshkonong's History
Koshkonong has a simple but interesting past. For many years, it had its own post office. This post office helped people send and receive mail. It operated from 1839 all the way until 1935. That's almost a hundred years of mail service! The community got its name from a nearby natural landmark. This landmark is a well-known body of water called Lake Koshkonong.
