Krasnodar Stadium: Home of Football

The Krasnodar Stadium is a very special place for football lovers. It was built to be a comfortable and exciting venue for matches. The stadium officially opened its doors on October 9, 2016. Since then, it has hosted many thrilling games. The field itself is made of natural Grass, perfect for professional football.

Design and Building the Stadium

Building such a large and impressive stadium took a lot of planning and hard work. The stadium was designed by a team of expert architects from a company called von Gerkan, Marg and Partners (gmp), working with SPEECH architectural office. The actual construction was carried out by Esta Construction. The beautiful inside look of the stadium was created by Maxim Rymar Architectural Studio. The entire project was a huge effort to create a world-class sports venue.

Amazing Features for Fans

The Krasnodar Stadium is known for giving fans an amazing experience. It uses advanced technology to make every game exciting. One of the coolest features is a giant 360-degree media screen. This screen wraps all the way around the top part of the stadium's inside. It shows live game updates, replays, and cool light shows during matches. This makes you feel like you are right in the middle of the action!

Even when it's cold outside, the stadium is ready for play. It has a special heating system installed right under the grass pitch. This means that games can happen all year round, no matter the weather. The heating keeps the grass in perfect condition for the players.

The Beautiful Galitsky Park

Surrounding the stadium is a wonderful place called Krasnodar Park, but many people know it as Galitsky Park. This is a huge and beautiful park that has become one of the most popular spots in the city. It was built thanks to a generous entrepreneur named Sergey Galitsky and opened on September 28, 2017.

The park covers a large area of about 22.7 hectares. It's filled with more than 2,500 trees of many different kinds. You can find oak, hornbeam, alder, and even special bonsai trees. There are also poplars, pines, tulip trees, maples, thujas, and decorative plum trees. It's a fantastic place to visit before or after a game, or just to enjoy nature.
