Kristin Lisa Herrera (born February 21, 1989) is an American actress. She is well-known for playing Dana Cruz in the first season of the Nickelodeon TV show Zoey 101. She also played Lourdes Del Torro on the soap opera General Hospital.

Kristin Herrera's Early Life and Background
Kristin Herrera was born on February 21, 1989, in Los Angeles, California. She grew up with two older brothers, Ryan and Justin, and a sister named Ashley. Kristin has Mexican and Puerto Rican family roots. She can speak Spanish very well. She went to Hillcrest Christian School in Granada Hills, Los Angeles.
Kristin's Acting Journey
Kristin started acting in commercials when she was only six years old. Her very first TV role was in a commercial for a phone service. She later appeared in several popular TV shows.

Kristin's Role in Zoey 101
In 2004, when Kristin was 15, she got a big role. She was cast as Dana Cruz in the show Zoey 101. Dana was a roommate to Zoey Brooks (Jamie Lynn Spears) and Nicole Bristow (Alexa Nikolas).
After the first season, Kristin's character, Dana, was written out of the show. This means her character no longer appeared in new episodes. Dana was then replaced by a new character, Lola Martinez, played by Victoria Justice. Even though Kristin was only in Season 1, her character Dana was mentioned again in Season 2. Dana also appeared in flashbacks during a Season 4 episode.
Other Film and TV Roles
Kristin also acted in the movie Freedom Writers. In this film, she starred alongside the famous actress Hilary Swank. After 2008, Kristin took a break from acting. Her last role before her break was on the soap opera General Hospital.
In 2020, Kristin reunited with some of her former Zoey 101 castmates. They appeared together on the television show All That.
Kristin Herrera's Personal Life
Kristin Herrera got engaged to her boyfriend, Daniel Novak, on July 15, 2016. However, their engagement ended soon after. But on February 14, 2020, they announced their engagement again! Kristin and Daniel got married on October 26, 2022.
On November 17, 2021, Kristin shared exciting news. She announced that she was expecting her first child with Daniel. Their son was born on May 23, 2022.
