Krystal Joy Brown is an American actress born in Alexandria, Virginia. She is known for her amazing performances on Broadway and in TV shows. She first appeared on Broadway in the musical Hair in 2009.
Since then, Krystal Joy Brown has played many exciting roles. She was Ornella Sturdevant in Leap of Faith (2012) and Josephine Bloom in Big Fish (2013). She also played the famous singer Diana Ross in Motown: The Musical (2014).
She became very well-known for her role as Eliza Hamilton in the popular musical Hamilton. She also played Gussie Carnegie in the Broadway revival of Merrily We Roll Along (2022–2024).

Krystal Joy Brown began her acting career in 2007. Her first big role was playing Mimi in the national tour of the musical Rent. This meant she traveled around the country performing the show.

Krystal Joy Brown continued to shine on Broadway. In 2012, she created the role of Ornella Sturdevant in Leap of Faith. This musical was based on a 1992 movie starring Steve Martin. Critics praised her strong singing voice in the show.
