Kulanada is a village in the state of Kerala, India. It's located in the Pathanamthitta area, right next to the Alappuzha district.
The name Kulanada comes from two words: Kulam (meaning 'pond') and Nada (meaning 'temple'). This refers to a temple where the king of Pandalam used to worship.
In 2011, about 21,217 people lived in Kulanada. Most people in Kulanada speak Malayalam, which is the local language.
The local government, called the Kulanada Panchayat, is currently led by the BJP. Chithira C. Chandran is the elected president of the Panchayat.
