Kumla Municipality (which in Swedish is Kumla kommun) is a local government area in central Sweden. It is part of Örebro County. The main town, or "seat," of the municipality is called Kumla.
This municipality was created during a big change in local government across Sweden. This happened in two steps, in 1966 and then again in 1971, when smaller areas joined together to form larger ones.
Kumla Municipality is the smallest municipality in Örebro County. It covers an area of about 207 square kilometers.
