What La Gaceta Believes In
La Gaceta became known for its traditional views. This means it often supported older ways of thinking. In the 1920s, it disagreed with Hipólito Yrigoyen. He was a popular leader who focused on the common people. Later, in 1960, the newspaper was censored. This happened during the time of Arturo Frondizi. His government wanted to develop the country more.
Modern Design and Technology
This newspaper has always been very modern for its region. It was the first in South America to use a special printing method called offset printing. This method makes pictures and text look very clear. It was also the first newspaper to be fully controlled by computers.
