La Gira (which means The Tour in English) is a fun Spanish TV show that first aired on March 4, 2011. It was created by Capitán Araña for Disney Channel Spain. The show quickly became very popular, getting the highest audience numbers for Disney Spain that season. Because it was such a big hit, other countries like Italy and the Netherlands made their own versions, called In Tour and On Tour.
The show features a talented cast of young actors. These include Lucía Gil, who won the first My Camp Rock contest in Spain, and Paula Dalli, who was also a finalist. Other main actors are Daniel Sánchez and Ramón San Román. You'll also see Andrea Guasch from Cambio de Clase, along with Jorge Clemente and Alba Celma. Adults in the series include José Ramón Iglesias, Raquel Infante, and José María Sacristán.
The first season of La Gira had 26 episodes, each lasting about 6–8 minutes. The second season also had 26 episodes, which were shown in pairs and lasted about 8–20 minutes. The show finished on July 12, 2013. A music CD from the series was released on March 13, 2012.
