Lake Jivaro is a special, man-made lake located in southeast Shawnee County, Kansas. It is a private reservoir, which means it was built by people to hold water. This lake was created in the early 1960s. You can find it just east of Shawnee Heights Road.

The lake has a dam at its north end. It covers an area of about 97.7 acres (39.5 hectares). Many homes are built along about half of its shoreline, making it a residential area.
