Lakeland Highlands is a community in Polk County, Florida, United States. It's called a "census-designated place" (CDP) because the U.S. Census Bureau collects information about it. In 2010, about 11,056 people lived there.
Lakeland Highlands is part of the larger Lakeland–Winter Haven metropolitan area. It's a nice residential area located just south of the city of Lakeland. It's also north of Mulberry. Together with Medulla, Lakeland Highlands makes up a big part of what people call South Lakeland.
The area uses Lakeland zip codes like 33807, 33812, and 33813. It has several schools, including George W. Jenkins Senior High School, Scott Lake Elementary, Lakeland Highlands Middle School, and Valleyview Elementary.
