Larches is a neighborhood in Preston, a city in England. It's located in the north-west part of Preston. This area has a mix of homes, including those built by the local council and private houses. Ashton Park is a large green space right in the middle of Larches. The area borders Riversway and the nearby village of Lea.
Larches is part of a larger area called Ashton-on-Ribble. Long ago, Ashton-on-Ribble was part of a historical division called Amounderness. Today, Larches has small businesses and shops. Many families live here, and most adults travel to work in other parts of the city. There are also many retired people living in the area.

Where is Larches?
Larches is in the north-west part of Preston. A main road called the A5085 Blackpool Road goes through the area, dividing it into two main parts: Larches and Savick. The southern part of Larches is close to the A583 Riversway by-pass.
The homes in Larches are mostly detached (stand-alone) and semi-detached (two homes joined together) houses. Many of these were built after World War II. They are spread out along medium-sized roads and avenues. There's also a specific housing area called the Preesall estate, which is located in the north, near the boundary with Lea.
