Larry D. Mann (born December 18, 1922 – died January 6, 2014) was a Canadian actor. He was famous for being "The Boss" in TV commercials for Bell Canada in the 1980s. He also gave his voice to the beloved character Yukon Cornelius in the classic Christmas TV special Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer.

Larry D. Mann was born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, on December 18, 1922. Before he became a well-known actor, he worked as a disc jockey. In 1949, he played music and talked on the radio at 1050 CHUM in Toronto.
Voice Acting and Famous Characters
One of Larry Mann's most famous roles was using his voice for characters. He was the voice of Yukon Cornelius in the classic Rankin-Bass Christmas special Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer. This special is still loved by many families today. He also lent his voice to other characters in different Rankin-Bass TV shows and specials.

Larry Mann's acting career in movies and TV lasted for four decades, which is 40 years! He first became known to audiences in Canada in 1953. He appeared on a show called Let's See with a puppet named Uncle Chichimus.
He acted in more than 20 movies. Some of his most famous films include In the Heat of the Night, Bullitt, and The Sting.
Larry Mann was also in many popular TV shows. These include Get Smart, Gunsmoke, The Man From U.N.C.L.E., Bewitched, Hogan's Heroes, Columbo, and Hill Street Blues. For ten years, starting in 1981, he played the main character, "The Boss," in a series of TV commercials for Bell Canada.
His last acting role was in a TV show called Homefront in 1991.
