Lazarus "Larry, Rock" Zeidel (born June 1, 1928 – died June 17, 2014) was a professional ice hockey player from Canada. He was known for being a tough and determined player. Larry played as a defenceman, which means his main job was to stop the other team from scoring goals.
He played for 5 seasons in the top league, the NHL. He also spent 12 seasons playing in the AHL, which is another professional hockey league.

Larry's Hockey Journey
Larry Zeidel started his hockey career with the Barrie Flyers in the OHA. After that, he played for the Quebec Aces for three seasons. He then moved on to play for the Saskatoon Quakers.
Playing in the NHL
Larry got his chance to play in the NHL with the Detroit Red Wings. He played 19 games with them before moving to their minor league team, the Indianapolis Capitals. He was called back to the Red Wings for a few more games.
He also played for the Chicago Black Hawks in the NHL for one season. Larry spent a lot of his career moving between different teams and leagues, always showing his dedication to the sport.
Success in the AHL
Larry spent many years in the AHL, playing for teams like the Hershey Bears for eight seasons and the Cleveland Barons. These teams helped him develop his skills even further.
He also played for the Edmonton Flyers and the Seattle Totems in the WHL. Larry finished his long playing career with the Philadelphia Flyers for two seasons.
Stanley Cup Champion
