Lauren Bennett's Music Journey

Starting with Paradiso Girls (2007–2010)

Lauren Bennett was a member of a girl group called the Paradiso Girls. The group started in 2007 with seven members. By 2008, they had five members. Each member came from a different country. Chelsea Korka was from the United States, Aria Crescendo from France, and Shar Mae Amor from the Philippines. Lauren Bennett and Kelly Beckett were both from the United Kingdom.

The band signed with Interscope Records. Their first song, "Patron Tequila", came out on May 12, 2009. It featured artists Lil Jon and Eve. The song reached number 3 on the Hot Dance Club Play Chart. It also reached number 82 on the Canadian Hot 100 chart. .....

Solo Music and Big Hits (2010–2013)

After Paradiso Girls, Lauren started her solo music career. She was featured in a remix of will.i.am's song "I Got It from My Mama". ..... Later that year, she met CeeLo Green. She was featured on his album The Lady Killer on a song called "Love Gun".

..... This song sold over 5 million digital copies in the United States. It was number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart for six weeks. This was Lauren's first number one song on that chart. "Party Rock Anthem" also topped the UK Singles Chart in the United Kingdom for four weeks. Lauren often works with Robin Antin. She was also featured in the Pussycat Dolls' second fitness DVD. Her first solo song, "I Wish I Wish", was released on November 21, 2011. It was released through Interscope Records.

Joining G.R.L. (2013–2015)

While talking to Billboard.com, Lauren confirmed she was joining a new music group. This made her the first member of a new group that Robin Antin was creating. At first, this group was planned to be a new version of the Pussycat Dolls. In 2011, it was announced that a new group would appear in a GoDaddy Super Bowl commercial in February 2012.

Lauren was part of the first lineup, along with Paula van Oppen. Other members were later changed. Eventually, Simone Battle, Emmalyn Estrada, and Natasha Slayton joined. The group, now called G.R.L., released their first song "Vacation". This song was part of Smurfs 2 soundtrack.

G.R.L. became successful around the world. They worked with artists like Pitbull on his hit song "Wild Wild Love". The group then released their own album, an EP called G.R.L.. The main song from this album, "Ugly Heart", reached number 2 on the Australian charts. G.R.L. was becoming very popular.

Sadly, group member Simone Battle passed away in September 2014. In January 2015, the group released a song called "Lighthouse" to honor Simone. They also worked to raise awareness about mental health issues. On June 2, 2015, the group officially broke up.

Solo Music and G.R.L. Returns (2016)

On April 8, 2016, a dance song called "Reality" was released. It featured Lauren Bennett and was produced by Greek DJ Nick Martin.

On May 8, 2016, Lauren announced her new solo song "Hurricane" on Instagram. She shared that after G.R.L. ended, she felt lost. This song was written during that time. She explained that mental health struggles have affected her life. She dedicated the song to raising awareness. A part of the money from the song was donated to The Campaign to Change Direction. This group works to change how people view mental health in America.

On June 15, 2016, more than a year after G.R.L. broke up, it was reported that the group planned to get back together. They would be working with a new agency called Loco Talent. In June, the group's new agent, Matt Wynter, confirmed that G.R.L. was back. Lauren Bennett was one of two original members who returned to the new lineup. The group's new song "Are We Good" was released on December 9.

BENNETT Duo (2017)

In 2017, Lauren and her brother Ryan formed a music duo called BENNETT. They play folk, country, blues, and rock music. Their first song, "It's All Good", was released on June 2, 2017.
