Lauren Diane Bennett (born June 24, 1989) was a talented English singer. She was a member of the American girl group G.R.L.. Lauren also collaborated with other artists and groups like the Paradiso Girls, CeeLo Green, and LMFAO. She became widely known for her part in LMFAO's 2011 hit song "Party Rock Anthem". This song reached number one in both the United Kingdom and the United States. Lauren Bennett passed away in May or June 2026.
Lauren Bennett's Music Journey
Starting with Paradiso Girls (2007-2010)
Lauren Bennett began her music journey in a girl group called the Paradiso Girls. The group started with seven members in 2007. By 2008, they became a group of five. Each member came from a different country. Chelsea Korka was from the United States. Aria Crescendo was from France. Shar Mae Amor was from the Philippines. Lauren Bennett and Kelly Beckett were from the United Kingdom.
The Paradiso Girls signed with Interscope Records. Their first song, "Patron Tequila", came out in 2009. It featured artists Lil Jon and Eve. This song did well on the dance charts. After another song, the group decided to go their separate ways in 2010.
Launching a Solo Career (2010-2013)
After Paradiso Girls, Lauren started her solo music career. She appeared in a remix of a song by will.i.am. She also toured with the group LMFAO. Later, she worked with CeeLo Green on his album The Lady Killer.
In 2011, Lauren was featured on LMFAO's huge international hit, "Party Rock Anthem". This song was incredibly popular. It sold millions of copies in the United States. Joining the Group G.R.L. (2013-2015)
Lauren Bennett became the first member of a new music group. This group was created by Robin Antin. It was first planned to be a new version of The Pussycat Dolls. In 2012, Lauren appeared in a GoDaddy commercial for the Super Bowl. This was with the first members of the new group. Later, Simone Battle, Emmalyn Estrada, and Natasha Slayton joined. The group was named G.R.L.. Their first hit song, "Vacation", was part of The Smurfs 2 movie soundtrack.
G.R.L. became very popular around the world. They worked with artists like Pitbull on his song "Wild Wild Love". The group also released their own music collection called an EP, titled G.R.L.. Their song "Ugly Heart" was very successful in Australia.
In September 2014, a sad event occurred when group member Simone Battle passed away. In her memory, G.R.L. released a song called "Lighthouse" in 2015. They also worked to help people understand mental health challenges. The group officially broke up in June 2015.
New Music and G.R.L. Returns (2016)
In April 2016, Lauren Bennett was featured on a dance song called "Reality". It was produced by DJ Nick Martin. In May 2016, Lauren released her own new song, "Hurricane".
