Leonor Watling (born July 28, 1975) is a talented Spanish actress and singer. She is well-known for her roles in movies and TV shows, and also as the lead singer of the band Marlango.
Early Life
Leonor Watling was born in Madrid, Spain. Her father was Spanish, and her mother was English. She is the youngest of four children. When she was younger, Leonor wanted to be a dancer. However, a knee injury stopped her from pursuing that dream.
Career
Leonor Watling started her acting journey in theatre. Her first movie role was in Jardines colgantes in 1993. After that, she appeared in several TV series. One of her most famous TV roles was in Raquel busca su sitio.
In 1998, Leonor was nominated for a Goya Award. This is one of the most important film awards in Spain. She was nominated for her role in the movie La hora de los valientes. She was also named one of Europe's 'Shooting Stars' in 1999, which means she was recognized as a promising new talent. She received another Goya nomination in 2002 for My Mother Likes Women.
Leonor has also done voice acting. She was the Spanish voice for "Red Pucket" (Little Red Riding Hood) in the animated movie Hoodwinked (2005). She also acted in the movie The Oxford Murders with famous actors like Elijah Wood.
In 2006, Leonor was part of the movie Paris, Je T'aime. This film is a collection of short stories about love in Paris. Leonor starred in the "Bastille" part, which was directed by Spanish filmmaker Isabel Coixet.

Leonor Watling is in a relationship with Oscar-winning musician Jorge Drexler. They have two children together: a son named Luca, born in 2009, and a daughter named Lea, born in 2011.
