Leticia Moreno, a talented Spanish violinist.

Leticia Muñoz Moreno (born in 1985 in Madrid) is a famous Spanish violinist. She started learning music very early, at just 3 years old. She studied both violin and piano using the Suzuki Method. By the time she was 5, she was already performing her first concerts!

In 1996, Leticia began studying with a well-known teacher named Zakhar Bron. She spent six years learning from him at the Escuela Superior de Música Reina Sofía in Spain and also at the Köln Musikhochschule in Germany. Later, she received guidance from other great musicians like Maxim Vengerov and David Takeno. She even got the highest grade ever for her final performance at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama! From 2003, her last teacher was the legendary Mstislav Rostropovich.

Since 2005, Leticia Moreno has played a very special violin. It was made in 1679 by Pietro Guarneri, a famous violin maker. This valuable instrument belongs to the Stradivari Society of Chicago. Leticia has performed concerts all over the world. She has played in countries like Austria, England, Russia (St. Petersburg and Moscow), Italy, Poland, and many places in South America, Mexico, and Spain. She has also performed with major orchestras, including the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and the Vienna Symphony Orchestra.

The Spanish composer Francisco Lara wrote a special piece of music for her. It is called Capriccio for Leticia and was composed in 2005.
