Lidderdale is a small city located in Carroll County, Iowa, in the United States. In 2020, about 166 people lived there. Lidderdale officially became a city in 1906.

History of Lidderdale
Lidderdale started as an important place for shipping goods by train. It was on the Chicago Great Western Railroad line. The city got its name from William Lidderdale. He was a governor of the Bank of England. William and his brother, Francis Lidderdale, invested a lot of money in the railroad. Some people in America thought William was a "Lord" because of his important job. But he actually wasn't a Lord.

In 2020, the census counted 166 people living in Lidderdale. There were 84 households and 55 families. The city had about 68.8 people per square mile. Most residents (98.8%) were White. A small number (1.2%) were Hispanic or Latino.
