Sylvester Samuel, known by his stage name Lil' Ru, is an American rapper. He is also sometimes called Boobie Samuel. He is signed to Def Jam Recordings, a well-known music label. His first album, 21 & Up, was released on August 25, 2009.

Lil' Ru's Music Journey
Early Career and First Songs
Lil' Ru started his music career in the early 2000s. His first song, "Will Destroy," came out in 2001. The next year, in 2002, he released another song called "Shawty What You Doin’." Both of these songs became popular and appeared on the Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop charts. This success helped him get a record deal with Capitol Records.
Albums and Record Deals
In 2007, Capitol Records released his album Don’t I Look Good. This album featured the song "I’m Spinnin’ It." After touring and promoting this album, Lil' Ru signed with Def Jam Recordings in March 2009. He then released a song called "Nasty Song." In 2011, he was featured on Dirty Dave's song Fast Lane, which also included rapper Gucci Mane. The music video for Fast Lane was directed by Yung Joc.
In 2015, Lil' Ru started his own music label called Presidential Music. Through his new label, he released his song "Key Is Mind."
