Liliana Goodman Meregildo, known as Lilly Goodman, is a talented singer and songwriter from the Dominican Republic. She was born on December 19, 1980. Lilly is famous for singing Christian music in Spanish. Many people think she has one of the best voices in Christian music. She has also won many awards, including the Latin Grammy Award.

Lilly's Early Life and Career
Lilly Goodman was born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, in 1980. Her family has roots in the Dominican Republic, Cocolo culture, and the British Virgin Islands. Growing up, she went to church, where she taught Sunday school and sang. People started to notice her singing when her voice was played on the radio.
Even though she first thought about working in pharmacy, Lilly decided to become a public singer when she was 19. Her first big success came in 2001 with her album called Contigo Dios (which means "With You God"). In 2006, she released another album titled "Sobrevivire" ("I Will Survive"). One of her songs from this album was even sung in Portuguese by a Brazilian singer named Aline Barros. In 2006, Lilly was named the best Christian singer in her home country.
Family Life and Home
Lilly Goodman married David Hegwood in 2007. Together, they started a company that produces music. Today, Lilly lives in Dallas, Texas, with her two children. She is also a worship pastor and an artist at Gateway Church in Southlake.
