A Look at Lirios's History
Long ago, after the Spanish–American War, Spain gave Puerto Rico to the United States. This happened in 1898, and Puerto Rico became a territory of the U.S.
In 1899, the U.S. government counted everyone living in Puerto Rico. They found that only 815 people lived in Lirios at that time.
