LisaRaye McCoy (born September 23, 1967), known simply as LisaRaye, is an American actress. She is famous for her roles in movies and TV shows. You might know her as Diana "Diamond" Armstrong from the 1998 film The Players Club. She also played Neesee James on the TV show All of Us from 2003 to 2007. Later, she starred as Keisha Greene in the romantic comedy series Single Ladies from 2011 to 2015.

LisaRaye was also married to Michael Misick, who was the leader of the Turks and Caicos Islands from 2006 to 2010. During that time, she held the special title of First Lady of Turks and Caicos.

LisaRaye McCoy was born in Chicago, Illinois, a big city in the U.S. Her dad, David Ray McCoy, was a businessman in Chicago. Her mom, Katie McCoy, used to be a professional model. LisaRaye also has a half-sister who is a famous rapper named Da Brat.

LisaRaye grew up on the south side of Chicago. She went to St. James College Prep, Kenwood Academy, and then Thornridge High School, where she graduated in 1986. After high school, she attended Eastern Illinois University before deciding to become an actress.

Her Career in Acting and Fashion

LisaRaye's first acting job was in an independent film called Reasons. She became very well-known for her role as Diamond in the movie The Players Club, which was directed by Ice Cube. She also appeared in other films like The Wood, All About You, and Go for Broke.

In 2003, LisaRaye got a main role as Neesee James in the TV show All of Us. She played the ex-wife of a character played by Duane Martin. The show ran until 2007.

Before acting, LisaRaye started her career as a model. She also appeared in many music videos for different artists. In 2005, she started her own fashion lines. One was called Luxe & Romance, which was a lingerie line. The other was Xraye, a jeans line for women. In 2011, she launched "The LisaRaye Collection" of jeans with PZI Jeans and a hair line called "LisaRaye Glamour."

In 1992, LisaRaye married American football player Tony Martin. They later divorced in 1994.

In April 2006, LisaRaye married Michael Misick. He was the Premier of the Turks and Caicos Islands, which is a group of islands. Their wedding was a big event with many guests. During their marriage, LisaRaye was known as the "First Lady of the Turks and Caicos." They divorced in 2008.

LisaRaye is also a Christian.
