Lisa Adrienne Gladden (born October 6, 1964) is an American politician from Maryland. As a member of the Democratic Party, she served in the Maryland State Senate. She represented the 41st district in the city of Baltimore.
In 2017, Gladden stepped down from her role as a senator because of health challenges from Multiple Sclerosis.

Early Life and Career
Lisa Gladden was born in Baltimore, Maryland. For her higher education, she went to Duke University and later the University of Maryland School of Law. After finishing law school, she became an attorney and worked for the Office of the Public Defender.
She was also involved with groups like the American Bar Association and the Alliance of Black Women Attorneys.
In 2010, Gladden shared that she had been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis (MS) in 1995. She explained that she kept it private for a long time because she wanted people to focus on her work, not her health.
A Career in Maryland's Government
Lisa Gladden spent many years working as a lawmaker for the state of Maryland. Lawmakers are people elected to make laws and represent the citizens of their area.
Maryland House of Delegates
