Have you ever seen a cool toy or a fun T-shirt with your favorite cartoon characters on it? That's called merchandise! Since 1989, lots of merchandise has been made for the Disney TV show Chip 'n Dale: Rescue Rangers. In 1993, Disney also released special Halloween VHS tapes. These tapes featured episodes from popular shows like Chip 'n Dale Rescue Rangers, Darkwing Duck, DuckTales, and Goof Troop. For example, the Rescue Rangers episode "Ghost of a Chance" was on a tape called Boo-Busters.
Other episodes were released on VHS tapes in countries like the United Kingdom, Australia, and New Zealand.

DVD Releases
Later, the show came out on DVD. Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment released two DVD sets in the US (called Region 1). These sets included the first 51 episodes of the series.
US (Region 1) DVDs
The first DVD set came out on November 8, 2005, with episodes 1-27. The second set was released on November 14, 2006, with episodes 28-51. There are no plans yet for a third set to release the rest of the episodes.

In the United Kingdom, Disney released a DVD set in 2007 called Chip 'n Dale Rescue Rangers First Collection. This set had 20 episodes and was available in several languages. A second DVD set, Chip n Dale Rescue Rangers Season 2, came out in the UK on December 5, 2012. This set had 24 episodes.
