List of Lizzie McGuire episodes facts for kids
Lizzie McGuire was a super popular TV show on Disney Channel. It was created by Terri Minsky and aired from January 12, 2001, to February 14, 2004. The show was produced by Stan Rogow. It was made for kids and teenagers, and lots of people watched it! The show finished making episodes in 2002 after reaching 65 episodes. Because it was so successful, Disney Channel even made a movie called The Lizzie McGuire Movie. In 2019, there was talk about bringing Lizzie McGuire back for Disney+, with Hilary Duff and other original actors returning, but this plan was later canceled in December 2020.
The show stars Hilary Duff as Lizzie McGuire, a regular teenager dealing with everyday problems. A cool part of the show is that Lizzie's secret thoughts and feelings are shown by a cartoon version of herself, who is often quite funny! Lalaine plays Miranda, and Adam Lamberg plays Gordo, who are Lizzie's best friends. Other main actors include Jake Thomas as Matt (Lizzie's brother), Hallie Todd as Jo McGuire (Lizzie's mom), and Robert Carradine as Sam McGuire (Lizzie's dad).
Sometimes, the episodes were shown on TV in a different order than they were filmed. This could make things a bit confusing! For example, the episode "Pool Party" was actually the very first one filmed, even though it aired later. In this episode, the cartoon Lizzie introduces all the characters for the first time. Also, the episode "Bye Bye Hillridge Junior High" was the last one made, showing Lizzie and her friends graduating middle school, which leads into the movie. But it aired in the middle of the second season! Lalaine, who plays Miranda, wasn't in the last few episodes filmed because she was busy with other projects, like the movie You Wish! and concert tours.
