This article lists the Vice Premiers of the People's Republic of China since 1949. A Vice Premier is like a top assistant to the Premier, who is the head of government in China. They help the Premier manage the country's affairs. In China, the Premier is chosen by the National People's Congress every five years and can serve for a maximum of two terms.

What is a Vice Premier?
The role of Vice Premier in the People's Republic of China began on October 1, 1949, when the country was founded. Think of the Premier as the CEO of a big company (the government). The Vice Premiers are like the senior managers who help the CEO run different parts of the company. They are very important in making sure the government works smoothly and carries out its plans.
