Liteni (which means 'Leiten' in German) is a town located in northeastern Romania. It is part of Suceava County. This area is known as the historical region of Western Moldavia.
Liteni is the ninth-largest town in Suceava County. In 2021, about 8,878 people lived there. Liteni became an official town in 2004. It manages five smaller villages: Corni, Roșcani, Rotunda, Siliștea, and Vercicani.
