Little Bull Creek is a small stream, also known as a tributary, located in the state of Pennsylvania, United States. It flows through parts of both Allegheny and Butler counties. This creek is an important part of the Allegheny River's watershed, which is the entire area of land where all the water drains into a specific river system.
The Creek's Journey
Little Bull Creek begins its journey, or rises, in Butler County. From there, it flows south into Allegheny County. As it travels, the creek generally runs alongside the southeastern side of Pennsylvania Route 28, a major highway.
The creek continues its path until it reaches the borough of Tarentum. Here, Little Bull Creek joins the larger Bull Creek. It flows into Bull Creek by going through a special tunnel or pipe called a culvert. This culvert is located underneath Bull Creek Road, which is part of Pennsylvania Route 366.
