Little Mud Lake (which is petit lac Mud in French) is a small lake found in South Bruce Peninsula, Bruce County, in the southwestern part of Ontario, Canada. It's a natural body of water that plays a part in the larger Great Lakes Basin. The lake is located about 5.5 kilometres (3.4 miles) northwest of the town of Wiarton.

How Water Flows Through the Lake

- Inflow: An unnamed creek brings water into Little Mud Lake from the northwest. This is where the lake gets its fresh water.
- Outflow: Another unnamed creek carries water away from Little Mud Lake at its southeast end. This creek then flows into Big Mud Lake.
- Journey to Lake Huron: From Big Mud Lake, the water continues its journey to Berford Lake. Berford Lake is the starting point of the Rankin River. The Rankin River then flows into the Sauble River, which finally empties into Lake Huron. This shows how Little Mud Lake is connected to one of the largest lakes in the world, the Great Lakes.
