Little Sandy Creek begins in McCalmont Township in Jefferson County. From there, it travels through several different areas.
The creek passes through places like Oliver Township, Beaver Township, and Ringgold Township. It also flows by the town of Worthville.
Finally, Little Sandy Creek reaches Redbank Township in Armstrong County. Here, it joins Redbank Creek. This meeting point is just a short distance upstream from the community of Mayport.
