Elizabeth Joan Winch (born August 14, 1930 – died September 6, 2018), known as Liz Fraser, was a British actress. She was famous for her roles in comedy films.

Early Life and Education
Liz Fraser was born in Southwark, London, England. Her father worked as a traveling salesman, and her mother owned a small shop.
Her family life changed a lot during the Second World War. Liz was sent away from London to safer places, first to Westerham and then to Chudleigh in Devon. Her father passed away when she was 11 years old.
Liz went to St Saviour's and St Olave's Grammar School for Girls. After school, she took evening classes at Goldsmiths College, where she joined a drama group. She also studied at the London School of Dramatic Art, which helped her start her acting career.
Acting Career Highlights
Liz Fraser's first movie was Touch and Go in 1955. She later appeared in The Smallest Show on Earth (1957), where she worked with actor Peter Sellers.
Her big break came in 1959 with the film I'm All Right Jack. She played the daughter of Peter Sellers' character. For this role, she was nominated for a BAFTA award as a "Most Promising Newcomer."

Liz Fraser was well-known for her parts in the popular Carry On comedy films. She appeared in:

Liz was a kind person who supported many charities. She also enjoyed playing poker and bridge.
She passed away on September 6, 2018, at the Royal Brompton Hospital.
